CTV’s March Events & New Videos
Recently we hosted a series of events focused on venture investing, all of which are now available for viewing online. In the past month, we hosted a panel discussion titled Biopharma Perspectives on Early Venture Investing and R&D, which features a lively and candid discussion with leaders from Roche, Novartis, and J&J. We also hosted two events highlighting federal government support for innovation, including a “how to” on SBIRs and STTRs with former U.S. Small Business Administration’s Associate Administrator Javier Saade; and finally a great panel of Federal administration officials discussion Obama’s Startup Nation: Perspectives on Catalyzing Innovation Inside and Outside the Government.
In addition, there is also video available from VC Perspectives: Early Stage Biotech Investing, which features a discussion with Doug Cole, Managing Partner of Flagship Ventures. The second, Biopharma Perspectives on Early-Stage R&D and Investing, features a lively and candid discussion with leaders from Roche, Novartis, and J&J. The video of the Hacking NYC panel discussion with Steve Blank, Maria Torres-Springer of NYCEDC and Maria Gotsch of the Partnership for NYC has now been posted as well. We hope you enjoy!
I hope you will join us later this month for two excellent events, including a patenting and licensing primer taught by me on Wednesday, March 23, and an informational lunch session for the Columbia community on Thursday, March 24 on how Columbia Technology Ventures can assist with commercializing research, forming a startup company, or patenting an invention. Pizza will be served.
