Intensive Two Day SBIR/STTR Proposal Prep – NIH

This 1.5-day workshop will provide detailed instruction on developing competitive proposals for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) SBIR/STTR program. Material covered in this program will include: 

  • Information about the SBIR Impact NYC program and how to apply
  • Current information on the SBIR/STTR programs 
  • Strategies for targeting your proposal to address the mission and requirements of the NIH 
  • How to approach each section of your proposal 
  • Planning your commercialization strategy 
  • Writing to meet the expectations of reviewers 
  • Common problems and pitfalls and how to avoid them 
The workshop will be conducted by SBIR Impact NYC director and nationally recognized SBIR/STTR expert, Lisa Kurek, who has trained hundreds of individuals from SBIR beginners to tenured faculty and experienced SBIR entrepreneurs.
Please note: This training is mandatory for companies planning to apply for the Cycle 3 cohort of SBIR Impact NYC (application deadline: midnight January 16.)
