Tristan Hunt
Tristan D. Hunt, MD, MBA, is a Partner with Averin, a healthcare investment firm driven by the belief that technology will transform nearly every aspect of human health over the next 30 years.
Previously, Tristan was chief operating officer for Roivant Health, the platform within Roivant Sciences to build and scale new health technology companies. Prior to Roivant, he was a Partner in the New York office of Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As a physician and leader within BCG’s healthcare practice, he was an expert in growth strategy, innovation, and due diligence; serving clients ranging from Series A to Fortune 500 companies, as well as global health institutions, and principal investors.
Tristan serves as an Expert-in-Residence (XIR) for Digitalis Commons. As an XIR he works to advise innovators working on early-stage health technologies and currently supports ARPA-H in translating scientific and technological breakthroughs into real-world products and services. He also serves as a Senior Fellow of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation, supporting the Foundation’s work to strengthen public-private partnerships and providing thought leadership on current and future issues impacting US business.
Tristan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, and Columbia Business School.
