SBIR/STTR Funding Support
Columbia Technology Ventures (CTV) is committed to assisting innovators and entrepreneurs in securing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding. These federal programs provide non-dilutive capital to small businesses, fostering technological innovation and facilitating the commercialization of new technologies.
Our Support Services
We offer a comprehensive suite of services to guide you through the SBIR/STTR application and award process, ensuring that Columbia-affiliated innovators are well-positioned for success.
- Proposal Development Assistance: Our team provides one-on-one mentorship to help refine and strengthen your application. CTV Technology Licensing Officers (TLOs) can review the commercialization section of SBIR/STTR applications, ensuring alignment with industry expectations and agency priorities.
- Letters of Support: CTV can provide letters of support for grants or SBIR/STTR applications to demonstrate institutional commitment and strengthen proposals. Please allow at least one week prior to the grant deadline to make the request.
- Training Workshops: We conduct in-depth workshops, both onsite and virtually, covering various aspects of the SBIR/STTR programs. These sessions are tailored to address the specific needs of participants, ensuring a strong understanding of funding mechanisms and best practices for proposal development. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in the workshops.
- Post-Award Support: Securing funding is just the beginning. We offer guidance on project management, compliance, and commercialization strategies to maximize the impact of your award.
